A perfect day @ Shangai Art World

It’s obvious that contemporary art painters from China have bunch of new ideas, sometimes with surrealistic depiction… it’s fun to realize that all these are in the spirit of the modern Chinese society.

Starting in Taikang Lu, an arts and crafts enclave in the heart of the French Concession...

Where one can see some amazing work by Mr. Fish using traditional “Chinese Red” and painting layer by layer…

or something more classical...

continuing in MOCA (Museum Of Contemporary Art)...

at the ReFlection oF Minds...

autonomous breathing...

warmed up ice...

food in the air...

catching a sight on the Japanese pop art at SWFC…

Japan: kingdom of characters...

with sexy context ;)

It’s time for something much more serious; Shanghai’s blossoming arts district M50...

fundamentally China has formed an independent system of art…

fueled with a political criticism...

and erotic…

which reflect realistic situation.
